Easter Books for Speech Therapy

Easter is fast approaching! There are many ways to target speech and language goals while celebrating Easter with your children. I love selecting books from the local library for younger children or reading about the holiday’s origins and celebrations around the world with older children. During reading, children can practice speech sounds, describe pictures, and retell the story in their own words.

Below are suggestions of books about Easter. Happy reading!

  • “Marshmallow,” by Clare Turlay Newberry

  • “The Runaway Bunny,” by Margaret Wise Brown

  • “Happy Easter, Mouse,” by Laura Numeroff
