Penguins are a fun topic to incorporate into speech-language therapy sessions. Families can talk about where penguins live, their habitats, and research fun facts about the animals. While reading, adults can ask comprehension questions or have the child make predictions. For a fun extension activity, consider making penguin crafts out of construction paper or modeling clay. These activities can incorporate following directions and naming attributes.
