Spring is here! There are many ways to target speech and language goals while celebrating spring. I love selecting books from the local library for younger students or reading about the seasonal celebrations across cultures with older students. During reading, children can practice speech sounds, answer comprehension questions, define vocabulary, and make inferences. Below are suggestions of books about spring. Happy reading!
“Fletcher and the Springtime Blossoms,” by Julia Rawlinson
“Home for a Bunny,” by Margaret Wise Brown
“Little Blue Truck’s Springtime,” by Alice Schertle
