What are Voicing Errors?

Are your children in speech therapy for speech sounds? Have you heard about voicing errors? There are some sounds that are the same in English, such as K/G, and the only difference is the use of the vocal folds. When saying, “G,” the vocal folds vibrate, while the “K” sound does not require voicing. If your child is confusing these sounds, reach out to a speech therapist for an evaluation.
